Couple crossing a bridge in Occoquan Regional Park - Engagement Session

Bluemont Vineyard | Occoquan Regional Park | Engagement

Congratulations to Melinda and Daniel on your Engagement!

We started their Engagement Session at Bluemont Vineyards on a beautiful Summer day.  We met and were about 40 minutes into our session when the skies turned dark and threatening.  So we had to cut the session short, which I felt badly about, but no one wants to take pics in the rain.  But the silver lining was that Daniel’s Aunt was meeting them for a glass of wine and to catch up.  Melinda is a gymnast and teaches classes, assuring me that she is still quite capable of tumbling with ease.  Daniel is a police officer and they’ve known each other for quite awhile.  He waited until he graduated from Police Academy before he proposed to Melinda.

We rescheduled a few times before we were able to meet up again in September.  We chose the Occoquan Regional Park in Lorton, VA.  Such a beautiful location.  From bridges to riverside…just lovely.  And, of course, these two!  It just doesn’t matter the setting!  They will just always be the most in love people you will ever see.  They smile and laugh at silly things.  Clearly lots of inside jokes are made, because I know I’m not this funny.  (shocker, right!?)

They will be getting married in May of 2020 at The Belmont Country Club in Loudoun County.  I can’t wait to see these two say “I Do!”
