Congratulations to Morgan and David on their Engagement!

I had the pleasure of meeting Morgan when we worked together on a previous wedding.  She was the venue coordinator and was so helpful behind-the-scenes.  When she contacted me about possibly shooting her own wedding, I felt so honored.  Because she’s seen me at my possibly “not-so-professional” moments.  Haha!  And she still wanted to work with me!

Morgan and David previously met me out in Clarke county and had driven an hour to our location only to be rained out 30 minutes into our shoot.  My weather app failed me and said that we would have cloudy skies but not precipitation.  Until it was literally on top of us.  I felt a single drop and 30 seconds later we were running back to our cars.   But it totally worked out!  We rescheduled and I was able to drive to the location where they would be having their wedding in August.  I prefer to see the location ahead of time, when possible, so I can plan out any lighting setups.  Morgan’s parents have a great piece of property out in the Virginia Countryside that’s just perfect for Morgan and David’s Rustic wedding.  They’re planning on saying their vows near the pond and having their reception in the barn filled with twinkle lights.
